Version 3.8.0 is here. NOVA-C firmware selection, delivery of new sensor firmware, numerous fixes.

NOVA-C: Firmware Selection #

With this release, the firmware version for the NOVA-C sensor can now be defined. This version will then be installed on the sensor the next time it is started. If no version is selected, the default version will always be installed. If a version is selected that is older than or identical to the version installed on the sensor, no update will be performed.

User Permission Changes #

This release includes a standardization and adjustment of user permissions. If, as a result of these changes, required permissions or settings are no longer available, please contact us.

Other #

• When entering floating-point numbers into fields intended for integers only, a corresponding error message now appears.
• Data validation error messages have been revised and are now clearer and easier to understand.
• For errors with the HTTP status code 400, the API now returns a more detailed error message.
• To avoid conflicts with text input, the delete shortcut has been changed from Delete to Alt + Delete. This function is now only available for the element that is currently being actively edited. This prevents accidental data deletion when only characters in a form field are intended to be removed.

• Fix: Start time check is incorrect
• Fix: Online sensors are blocked after running SAP cache clearing

• Fix: Customer overview in the admin dashboard is limited/not scrollable/not sortable

• Fix: Clearing the cache via the frontend does not delete all caches
• Fix: The Delete shortcut can no longer be used for invisible menu items
• Fix: The first NOVA-C event when registering a new sensor is not saved
• Fix: Error message 500 when a The NOVA-C sensor should be restarted via the frontend.

Sensor Firmware Release #

NOVA-C radar firmware v2025.6.5 is included with PureLife Cloud version 3.8.0 and can be set as the default version for new installations.

User Permission Changes #

This release standardizes and adjusts user permissions.

• Two new permissions have been added:
  • Edit Firmware Configuration, which allows users to select a sensor's firmware.
  • Change Fall and Posture Configuration, allowing users to modify the fall and posture detection configuration.
• The Vayyar sensor's dry contact configuration can now be edited with the Sensor Management permission.
• The Vayyar sensor's telemetry configuration can now only be edited by administrators.
• The Advanced Sensor Configuration permission has been removed.
