Version 2.2 is here. New sensor firmware, more translations, dashboard tiles can be rotated and much more.
Rotation of dashboard tiles
The room floor plan on the dashboard can now be rotated in order to adapt the room floor plan displayed to your personal perception.
Translations
The frontend is now almost entirely available in English, German and French. The texts that have not yet been translated will be translated with the next release.
Movement points unlocked
With version v2.1 an experimental feature was introduced to display the movements detected by the sensor live in the frontend. As of this version, this feature is enabled for all users and can be used.
Support of firmware version 0.37
Sensor firmware v0.37 is now supported by PureLife Cloud. As soon as Vayyar gives an official release, our customers’ sensors will be promptly updated get the upgraded firmware.
Fixes
- Fix: Sidebar is not scrollable
- Fix: Unable to save user expiration date
- Fix: Sending commands to the sensor doesn’t work
- Fix: The right sidebar is too narrow for certain resolutions
- Fix: No warning messages appear when configuring the sensor mounting height.

- The

values for the sensor room are also sent to the sensor for firmware v0.36. - From sensor firmware v0.36, encrypted transmission via HTTPS is used for file exchange.

Firmware management
Firmware versions can now be managed directly from the admin dashboard. Also, the latest stable sensor firmware is always part of the current release and is downloaded at startup of the PureLife Cloud instance, added directly.
Sensor logs
A look at the log files of a sensor can often simplify troubleshooting and problem analysis. The sensor logs can now be viewed and managed directly via the frontend.
MinIO removed
As of version 2.2, an installation of MinIO is no longer necessary and can therefore be removed. This should minimize storage requirements and overhead.
Various
- Crash reports can be disabled via backend configuration. For the frontend it will be possible with a next release.
- The admin dashboard has been removed.
