Support for firmware version 0.40

The new sensor firmware v0.40 is now supported by the PureLife Cloud and the newly introduced parameters can be changed via the frontend. As soon as Vayyar officially releases it, our customers’ sensors will promptly receive an update to the improved firmware.

Change of telephone number

The phone number for calls and text messages changes. The number is +49 6126 9788708 and can be reached via our new telephone system.

If the previous number is saved in the address book, please change it to the new number.

Adjustment of parameters

The parameters for the sensitiveMode have been set to the new default values recommended by the manufacturer. See the Description of the phases of the sensitive mode.

New function: reset password

With this version there is a link on the login page to access the password reset function. After logging in with a new password, an information email will be sent to the user informing them of the password change. The password cannot be reset if the user is not allowed to log in. There is an audit entry when the password is changed.

Fixes

  • Fix: Backend error messages are not translated.

New function: reset password

With this release there is a new setting to determine whether multiple users can use the same email address. This is enabled by default for new installations, but disabled for existing installations.

There is a new setting to enable/disable the Password Reset feature (enabled by default). If no SMTP settings are stored, the function is permanently deactivated.

Platform optimization

The manufacturer Vayyar is constantly working on optimizing the interface for optimizing the sensor and generating the sensitivity map and making it more efficient. As part of optimization, the current interface is replaced and replaced by a new interface.

The interface currently used is only available until February 22, 2024. With this version, the new interface is connected to ensure the optimization of the sensor beyond February 22nd.

Customers with their own instance of the PureLife Cloud are recommended to update to version 2.12 in order to continue using the optimization.

Connecting the mobile app

With this version, customers who operate their own instance of the PureLife Cloud can use the PureLife Care Mobile App. The server information is transferred to the app via a QR code that can be scanned with the app.

Limitation: Push notifications cannot be sent from your own instance to the mobile app due to access restrictions.

Fixes in version 2.12.1

  • Fix: devlogs cannot be sent to the aggregation service.
  • Fix: The QR code for the PureLife Care Mobile App is permanently cached.
  • Fix: The QR code for the PureLife Care Mobile App cannot be expanded by clicking on it.
